You are an artist with a desire to sell your art. I’m going to show you how to build a thriving business that supports your brilliant work.

my story

My story is not unlike yours.

I always knew that I was an artist. But it didn’t occur to me that I could actually make a living making art.

I got a job at a call center when I was 19, and then worked my way up the ranks to become a Sales Exec. & Trainer in Orlando and then in Philly.

I made art when I could squeeze it in…but it was never enough.

Deep down, I knew if I had the chance to go all in on my art, I would make it.

In 2011, I turned in my company car and went all in on making art…while raising two boys under two.

In the beginning, my goal was to just make enough so that I didn’t have to go back to a job. In my first year, I sold 6k in art…and by year 4, I had replaced my corporate salary with art sales.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve sold over a million dollars in art…and I can help you do the same.

Creating a business requires the same skills and mindset as creating your art.

My clients channel the skills they’ve built being an artist and apply those to their art businesses. When they realize that they are already fully equipped to make money doing what they love…then it just becomes a matter of showing them what’s possible, offering them concepts, strategies, and tactics that work, helping them execute on their goals, and coaching them on what gets in the way.

All I wanted to do was paint…but knew I needed to figure out how to sell my work if I wanted my business to be sustainable. This was a challenge because selling my art felt very personal.

I felt resentful of my business in the beginning for taking me away from my art…until I started to see my business as the reason why I was able to do my art. This shift changed everything.

And while I didn’t know it then…through all of this…I was getting really clear on my reasons for pursuing my dreams of being a professional artist.

  • I wanted to be an example of what was possible for my kids.  I wanted them to grow up with a mom who went after her dreams so they would know it was possible for them too

  • I wanted the flexibility to control my own schedule.

  • I was done underearning.  I wanted my finances to be a direct result of the value I was creating in the world…not a salary range on an HR spreadsheet or another convoluted comp plan.

  • I didn’t want to invest my creativity into anyone else’s vision any longer.  I was determined to invest it all into my own vision from that moment on.

Learning how to balance creating art, running a business, and raising a family.

Most business books will tell you that the key to creating a profitable business is to go out into the marketplace and find a problem people have, and then solve the problem.

My son Ryan just came home from school the other day and said that they had to do this exact assignment in one of his classes…he created a candy delivery business for his project. 😂 🍭😋

The problem with this strategy is that the art we think people want is usually not the art we want to make.

And in the beginning…we are ok with that.

We think that the most important thing is to just get our work out into the world, make some money, and make people happy with the art we make for them.

But over time, we start thinking about the work that we make in two categories

➡️ “our real art” (the art that we crave to create but don’t 100% believe people want to buy)

➡️ and “art that pays the bills” (the art that we know will sell, but isn’t what we deeply want to be making)

We spend less and less time making the work we love…and find ourselves stuck making the work that pays the bills because we think that’s what people want.

But it’s not.

And that’s why so many artists struggle.

But what I am going to teach you is the complete opposite.

I am going to help you get so clear on the work you love making FIRST…and we will build the business around that. Always checking back in to make sure that you are staying in tune with your creative brilliance. ✴️

Because…that’s actually what people want to buy…

and you’ll never run out of ideas, or inspiration, or energy for that work.

The art people want to buy the most is the art you most want to make.

Be more confident, become known, and get your work into the world.

My clients feel more certain and confident about themselves and their art. They are clear on the work they are creating and the message they have to share with the world. They know how to create collectors, price their art, and overcome objections.

They know how to believe in themselves, their work, and their collectors on purpose.

They run self-sustaining businesses….no more being classified as a hobby by the IRS. They are so proud of being financial contributors to their families with money made from selling their art.

Their work is more consistent, and people are recognizing them for it.

They know how their art helps them…and how it impacts the lives of their collectors.

“That was amazing!!! Loved it so much. You rocked it tonight. I’m beyond blessed to be a part of this.”

“I’m developing a trust and confidence in myself that I’ve not experienced before.”

-Kathryn E.N.

“I was just lolly-gagging with my art, sticking my wet finger up into the air to check which way the wind blew and now I am Rockin’ it! You hold me accountable and push me forward. I’m just amazed that the magic really does happen once you take responsibility for your art career.”
